Registering and Fundraising are easy!
To register for the 2nd San Diego Walk for Darfur, follow these easy steps:
1. Click here to register or go to www.sandiegowalkfordarfur.kintera.org.
2. Click on the green button that says "Register Here" and then follow the prompts.
3. You can register as an individual or as part of a team. You can even start a team by registering as a team captain.
4. If you want to register as part of a team, scroll down and then click on the down arrow to the right of “Please select a team,” click on the team you want to join, and then click on the “Continue” button.
5. Fill in your personal information, create your username and password, select your t-shirt size, fill in all required information (marked with red *) and then click on the “Continue” button.
6. Fill in the payment information and then click on the “Continue button. You can also add a donation onto your registration fee. Although fundraising is encouraged, there is NO minimum fundaising amount
that you must raise to walk. Your registration fee IS your donation to AJWS. We have underwritten
the entire cost of the Walk, thanks to our generous sponsors, so your registration fee and all donations will be contributed to AJWS to help the people of Darfur.
7. On the top of the page, you’ll see “New to your Headquarters?” Click on the “Start Here” link and then you’ll see “Welcome to your Event Headquarters.” Follow the steps to customize your personal webpage.
8. From your webpage (or HQ) you can check your donation report, send email solicitations to your friends and family, send thank you’s for donations you received, and print donation forms.
9. In the future when you want to check your HQ, go to www.SanDiegoWalkforDarfur.Kintera.org then under My Webpage click on Entering my HQ.
Note: You can register at the Walk for Darfur on March 29th at De Anza Cove in Mission Bay Park. Registration opens at 7:30 a.m. The Walk begins at 9:00 a.m.
