San Diego Walk for Darfur
We held the first San Diego Walk for Darfur in Balboa Park on Sunday, November 19th, 2006. Read an article written about the Walk. More than 2,000 walkers participated and raised more than $97,000 for the International Medical Corps. American Jewish World Service was our host non-profit sponsor. The money raised provided desperately needed medical supplies for the refugees in camps in Chad and Darfur. It was an amazing experience!
